Meaning

Oh, Padmanabha! Adorned with golden raiment; protect me.  Your form resembles the fresh clouds.
You made the hood of the serpent as the stage.  You are the personification of beauty and virtues and vanquisher of the demon Mura.
You are easily accessible to the group of people who worship your feet;  your eyes are like the tender petals of the lotus;  protector of host of celestials.  Your mount is Garuda;  praised in many ways by the scriptures; your feet have the glory of removing all miseries;  enlighten me to worship you always.  You have a beautiful forehead.  Oh, the ultimate supreme!
Oh, the flawless one! your gait is equal to the king elephant; you subdued the pride of the Cupid; having a charming form;  remover of impurities; subjugator of Brahma and having an effulgent form like the blue water lily-moon.  Always bestow comfort and joy on me Oh! Supreme!
Oh, the boundless!  Remove all my sins;  you have a charming gentle smile; protector of Arjuna; Oh Khalaphani Vihaga-the one who reclines on the huge serpent-Adisesha!  Dwell in my heart! Protector of virtuous people! You are praised by Brahama and Indira.  Oh, a repository of compassion! Do not case me away into worldly turmoil.
